Wheat-Free and Worry-Free
Tolerating gluten intolerance.
More and more, women are making the decision to live gluten-free lives. Growing concern over celiac disease, and the symptoms of gluten-intolerance, have increased awareness of the prevalence of gluten in everyday foods, beverages, and even lipstick! That can make shopping a tricky proposition. But it is not impossible, when you do some research and understand all the facts.
The key to living with gluten intolerance is the commitment to a 100% gluten free life. This means you need to completely eliminate foods like bread, baked goods, gravy and certain sauces, cereal, and beer. While this may sound daunting, there are many excellent replacements that can satisfy, like potato, risotto, rice, buckwheat, quinoa, amaranth, and legumes. In addition, many companies are now manufacturing 100% gluten free breads, cereals, pasta, candy, and much more. A little research, and smart shopping, can put you on the road to a worry-free, gluten-free lifestyle.
